On Sunday, August 17th, come and experience one of the first of its kind events in the Vancouver-Portland area. The Jewish Fun Fair, hosted by the Congregation Kol Ami, will showcase Jewish food, culture and entertainment from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Admission is free and there is plenty of parking.
This is a unique opportunity to get a taste of the Jewish culture with guided tours of SW Washington’s only Reform Jewish Synagogue, a Shofar blowing presentation and lessons on a few of the Jewish traditions.
Bring your appetite and taste some great food including: bagels with lox and cream cheese, corned beef, challah, kosher hot hogs, knishes, matzo ball soup, rugelach and more.
While there be certain to check out the entertainment, activities and crafters: Traditional singing, Israeli dancing, live music by Avi Haviv, storytelling, kid’s activities, hand-crafted jewelry, glass art, artisan clothing, photography and more.
You can also give back to the community by donating to Red Cross Bloodmobile and Clark County Food Bank who will be on site for the event.
