State Attorney General Makes a Delivery.
The Washington State Attorney General does not look like Santa Claus, but is making a HUGE delivery to the Battle Ground HealthCare Clinic on Tuesday, December 17, 2013.
Battle Ground HealthCare Free Clinic has been recently awarded a $184,000 three-year grant from the Washington State Attorney General’s office to institute a formal treatment plan for patients that are now being seen by the clinic with chronic medical conditions along with chronic pain issues. The award will be presented personally by the State Attorney General at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the clinic, located at 11117 NE 189th St., Battle Ground.
The clinic specializes in treating chronic health conditions for the uninsured who are at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level and between the ages of 18 and 65 in North Clark County. The grant will enable the clinic to access proven effective strategies for current patients who would otherwise not be able to afford these specialized services.
Battle Ground HealthCare’s growth and outreach for chronic medical care and dental services to those in need, is made possible by donations from the community. Donations can be financial or medical/dental equipment and supplies. Volunteers can also donate time and expertise. For further details, visit Battle Ground HealthCare online.
