Get ready to relax at the 7th Annual Lavender Festival at Scented Acres Lavender Farm on Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 10 am to 6 pm.

Lavender is much more than a pretty purple flower that smells good in your garden. Lavender flowers have long since been used to treat digestive problems, insomnia, anxiety, and restlessness; both the flowers of the plant and the essential oils derived from the plant can be used for therapeutic uses.

Come celebrate lavender at Scented Acres Lavender Farm (13804 NE 117th Avenue, Vancouver WA) and discover lavender goodies including Lavender Ice Cream, Lavender Cookies, Laven-ade, and of course Lavender plants. Also, enjoy live Bluegrass Music (12-2), local vendors (including Phat Hoops), a fully stocked gift shop, bird and butterfly attracting plants in the nursery, goats, chickens and Alpacas, lavender craft classes all day, and more.
