Camas Quilt and Fiber Arts Festival

hey! sharing is caring :)

First Friday Features Fiber.

Fiber artists from Clark County, and all over Washington State, will be participating in the Downtown Camas Association First Annual Camas Quilt and Fiber Arts Festival this Friday, August 5 between 5 pm and 8 pm; and Saturday, August 6 between 9 am and 4 pm.

The festival started out as an idea for First Friday, but sparked so much interest the Downtown Camas Association decided to make it a weekend long event. “We have a thriving fiber arts community in this area and now we can honor all  their talents while showcasing them to the rest of the community,” according to Carrie Schulstad, Downtown Camas Association Vice President. “When we presented the idea, we immediately received such great feedback, we decided to make it a two day event. We are excited to share the art and knowledge of these talented people.”

Activities will include a local artist showcase throughout downtown, quilting and fiber art demonstrations, free make and take activities, a “yarn in”, raffles, crafts for charity and more.
