Introducing our newest Contributing Editor – Amy J. Smith.
Amy, being a Camas-Washougal area native and an ardent supporter of these communities, is the perfect fit for ClarkCountyLive to further connect us to the people, places, activities and events that happen in these great communities.
Amy says she has “always had a special spot in my heart for these communities” and her desire is to use the Camas-Washougal pages of ClarkCountyLive as a platform to “give voice to people and businesses of this area, and help generate support for all that is great about Camas and Washougal.”
“As a mother of four and an active family, we know what’s it like to not have a resource to turn to for information about our communities,” said Smith. “I hope to be part of changing that.”
“This area is more than just a ‘Gateway to the Gorge’” according to Smith, “it’s also a great place to visit, shop and live. We need to be more supportive of our small local businesses, and the events and activities that are all about Camas and Washougal.”
Please join me in welcoming Amy to the team as she helps us keep the focus on our neighborhoods and communities.
