Tales of the Engage’.
Enjoy a fire lit program of stories and tall tales at Tales of the Engage’; a free event offered at Fort Vancouver on October 13th and 27th, 2012 between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
Visitors will hear of the life of the men who signed contracts with the Hudson’s Bay Company, and the families that accompanied them throughout North America as costumed interpreters share stories by the fire about the adventures, toils, and triumphs of working class employees from the Hudson’s Bay Company’s past.
“Celebrate fall by the warmth of a fire, and experience the fort at night!” says Cassie Anderson, park ranger. “Tales of the Engagé is a dynamic program, great for all ages. Best of all, it’s free!”
