Order a pot of beautiful tulips, just beginning to bloom. Each pot measures approximately six inches and costs $15; the proceeds will help provide hot meals to homebound seniors in Camas and Washougal through the Loaves and Fishes Center, also known as Meals on Wheels!

The Refuge Stewards, in collaboration with the Lower Columbia River Estuary Partnership (LCREP) and Refuge Volunteers hosted a major planting effort to restore riparian habitat along Gibbons Creek at Steigerwald Lake NWR. This Friday, March 4, 2011, is the First Friday of the month! Camas First Friday Event will feature local Camas Middle School and High School students in the second annual Arts & Letters showcase, which was a huge hit last year for the locals. Visitors will be able to vote on their favorite works of art and the artist will win a prize.
Downtown Camas just celebrated February’s first Friday event and it was a hit. The streets were bustling and parking was hard to find! The streets were full of families and couples looking forward to February’s theme “chocolate and romance.”
