Video: Vancouver Festival of Trees and Vancouver Rotary

We had the chance to visit with Katlin Smith, of the Urban Words Group, and a volunteer with the Vancouver Rotary Foundation, who is heading up the marketing around the Vancouver Festival of Trees down at Pearson Air Museum. Katlin talked about the Trees, the worthwhile work the Vancouver Rotary does for the community and gave some details about some of the fun activities surrounding the event.  Enjoy.

38th Annual Vancouver Sausage Fest

The Best and the Wurst.

The Vancouver Sausage Fest is officially the last blowout of summer fun! It is held the weekend after Labor Day, and the 38th Annual Sausage Fest just wrapped up (although clean up is going to take a little while!). And while most people think “sausage” (or beer) when you mention the Sausage Fest, it is much more than that.

Clark County Live! on Location: Hoops on the River – Video

Great times down on the Riverfront as the 2009 Hoops on the River 3 on 3 tourney was in full swing.  In its 4th year, this is an awesome event benefiting a great cause. The Hoops on the River charity tourney is organized by Susan and Steve Oberst, with many generous supporters and incredible volunteers. Clark County Live! was on location and we have a couple of video clips from the event.

On Location: Battle Ground National Night Out – Video

It took me a couple days more than I wanted, as the new layout for Video Galleries needed some tweaking, but we now have the Video up from Battle Ground National Night Out.  There are four videos in the player, a couple of good interviews, including one with the folks at Fred Meyer who really rocked the event.

The night was really a blast.  Nothing like closed off streets, tons of food, great music, and people watching to round out an awesome summer evening.
