Brian Baird Town Hall Meetings

Baird Skips School in Clark County.

Congressman Baird will hold a Town Hall Meeting in Clark County at the Clark County Amphitheater on August 18, 2009 from 7-9:30 pm.  The meeting was originally scheduled in Clark County for August 18, 2009 at Skyview High School Auditorium.  That meeting has now been changed to the Clark County Amphitheater, though still on August 18, from 7-9:30 pm.

Congressman Brian Baird recently expressed regret over comments he made in regards to Town Hall Meetings, and announced a series of five Town Hall Meetings.

“Frankly, I have had concerns about how we can have constructive dialogue and, unfortunately, in response to some of the things we’ve been seeing across the nation I have said some things myself that I regret. I want to express that regret directly and announce that we will be holding a series of five town halls so people can express their opinions and ask questions.”

Another Town Hall Meeting has been scheduled in Longview for August 19, 2009 from 7-9:30 pm at the Cowlitz Expo Center.
