Vancouver Sends 104th Training Division Off In Style.

freedom festival Celebrate Freedom FestivalA family friendly “Celebrate Freedom Festival” is this Saturday, September 19 on the Fort Vancouver Parade Grounds (between Evergreen and E 5th St.) to honor all uniformed services and bid a farewell to the 104th Training Division that is transferred to Fort Lewis after a 60 year stay in Vancouver.

The Celebrate Freedom Festival events include:

7:30 Free Pancake Breakfast sponsored by Lions Club and IQ Credit Union
10:00 Formal ceremony bidding farewell to the 104th and honoring all Veterans
Noon to 4:00 Community Festival featuring family friendly activities, food, equipment displays, living history reenactments, army artifacts.
12:30 Vancouver Community Band Concert
1:30 Ms. Kelly Carr “Salute to the Troops” Concert
2:30 Vancouver Pipe Band Concert
3:00 US Army Band Concert and Drill Demonstration by the Young Marines
1:00, 2:00, 2:45 Iwo Jima Young Marine Reenactments
