November is National American Indian Heritage Month.
Join the Water Center in a commemoration where families can discover how Native Peoples used the abundant natural resources all around them in their daily lives.
Second Saturdays at the Water Resources Education Center are not only fun, they’re free! Each second Saturday of the month, from 1 to 3 p.m., kids and their families are invited to explore a different topic through hands-on activities, games and stories. Create bird feeders and other crafts to welcome wildlife to your backyard! Learn about the amazing world of bubbles! Make a piece of art from reused materials! There’s always something new waiting at Second Saturdays!
Come join the fun on November 14, 2009 from 1 to 3 pm at the Water Center (4600 SE Columbia Way). Just a reminder, children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
