This years annual event promises to be better than ever. On September 6th (11:00 AM to 2:00 PM) head over to 710 W 13th Street in Vancouver, WA for community activities and some fun for everyone.
At the CRESA Community Expo, you will get the chance to meet area responders, learn about the Hands Only CPR technique, and tour the Emergency Operations and Dispatch Center. Some additional highlights include a K9 Police Dog Demo, interactive activities for all ages, demonstrations and antique emergency service vehicles on display.
If you do not know already, CRESA stands for Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency. They provide consolidated 9-1-1 Emergency Dispatch services throughout Clark County, Washington, for both police and fire agencies.
The Emergency Management program manages local emergency planning and participates in regional planning efforts in both SW Washington Homeland Security Region 4 (Clark, Cowlitz, Skamania & Wahkiakum) and in the Portland Urban Area (Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Columbia and Clark) counties.
This annual event is CRESA’s opportunity to reach out to the local community to promote awareness, so don’t miss out on this fun and educational expo.
