Dozer Days… Kids Drive!

hey! sharing is caring :)

Dozer Days_600What does the third weekend in May always bring??? It’s Dozer Days! If your kids have been in the past, they’re probably on the edge of their seat waiting for the big day again. If your kids have never gone… here’s their chance! This year’s event will be held at the Clark County Event Center, May 17th and 18th, from 11am to 4pm.

It’s a dream come true for kids of all ages (and parents too!) as their Tonka toy trucks and cartoon-favorite Bob the Builder come to life when they climb into the driver seat of the giant yellow dozers, the bulky dump trucks, and other heavy equipment. They’ll have an instant friend with the professional operator at their side.

Dozer Days is the primary fundraising event for the Nutter Foundation, a nonprofit organization primarily focusing on the needs of children in our community. They believe that opportunity for our kids creates a society that thrives.

Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online, at Riverview Community Banks, iQ Credit Unions, and OnPoint Community Credit Unions. Cost is $7 for adults, $5 for kids (ages 2 to 12) and seniors (60+), and free for kids under 2. Tickets will be available at the event, but will be an additional $3 each.  Most activities inside the event are free, including the equipment rides. Tickets are good for one day.

Visit www.NutterFoundation.org for more information on the event, to become a community sponsor or volunteer, and to purchase tickets.

Put on some grubbies and head to the Event Center for some dirt and DOZERS!
