The event is presented by the Klineline Kids Fishing Nonprofit, the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife and Clark Public Utilities. The program is aimed at getting more kids involved in the sport of fishing and building a base for the future stewards of this great Northwest resource.
Timeslots are available from 8am to 3:45pm both days. Registration is $5 and includes a t-shirt, and a ZEBCO rod and reel. All fishing gear and bait will be provided.
Visit http://wdfw.wa.gov/fishing/kids/events.html or http://www.klineline-kf.org/index.html for more information and the registration form. There is no online/by phone registration available, forms must be received by April 4, 2014, and there is limited room… so don’t wait!
Local business sponsorships help make this day a success. If interested, please call Jamie Birkeland, of Riverview Community Bank, at (360) 931-5524.
Don’t miss this opportunity to get the kids active and catch dinner while they’re at it!!
