Garden_600Does the idea of vegetable gardening spark interest, but make you wonder where to start, what to plant, and where to plant it? WSU Extension Master Gardeners will be hosting a class on March 22nd at 2pm in the Washougal Community Library and will be bringing all the answers!

The workshop will teach all the basics of vegetable gardening, where to place and how to create the optimal layout of your garden, soil preparation, crop selection, and how to make the most of even the smallest spaces. You’ll not only learn to grow healthy, delicious fruits, vegetables and herbs, but also how to time your planting, harvest early crops and plant a second in the same space!

This event is FREE and open to the public. For more information, contact Erika Johnson at 360-397-6060. Don’t live with envy of your neighbor’s garden this year… Be the envy and enjoy your very own garden goodness!
