The ultimate Hazel Dell event, the Parade of Bands celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year on Saturday, May 17th, 2014. Coined as The Golden Jubilee, and that indeed it will be!
The highlight of the day’s excitement will be the Alumni band, which according to Fire Commissioner Casey Collins, “is all about fun and community spirit”. Event organizers are calling out to all former parade participants… whether you’ve become a professional musician, or haven’t touched an instrument in ages… Hazel Dell Parade of Bands NEEDS YOU! Tune up that instrument, grab those pom poms, and bring out the banners!
The Hazel Dell/Salmon Creek Business Association has brought our community the annual Hazel Dell Parade of Bands for five decades, and this year is sure to top them all.
