Prom Night For PAL… Seeking King and Queen

hey! sharing is caring :)

Darcys-PAL-Fundraiser_600Prom night is not just for high schoolers! The Vancouver Rotary Club is presenting, “Once Upon A Time”, a prom dance for adults on May 3rd, 2014 from 7pm to 10pm at Gaiser Hall on the Clark College Campus. Cost is $25 per person.

What is a prom without a Prom King and Queen??

Darcy Altizer is in the running to be crowned queen. You may know her from one of the many volunteer hats she wears. She is the Vice President of Member Services for the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, and can be found frequenting volunteer efforts for the Dream Big Community Center, American Red Cross, Leadership Clark County, Walk and Knock, Clark College, and the Police Activities League (Pal). If elected, Darcy has pledged to offer a series of leadership workshops for youth in our community. Her goal is to help the youth in our community find the path to leadership and involvement. She is a hard-core Vancouver cheerleader and would love your vote!

The Prom King and Queen will be crowned at the Prom based on whoever raises the most funds. Votes truly mean dollars and all proceeds go to the Vancouver Police Activities League (PAL) and the Vancouver Metro Sunset Rotary. Visit www.VMSRotary.org to vote for your choice and get to know the candidates.

This time around you may not need to borrow your parent’s car, but you will want to find a clever way to invite your date (no doubt better looking than your first prom date!), dress up, and dance the night away.
