Library Holding Used Book Sale

The more you read the more things you will know. The more that you learn the more places you’ll go.”  Dr. Seuss.

Everyone loves books, whether it is for the pictures, the words or the places they take you in your mind, so why not support a great cause and get a few good reads? The Friends & Foundation of the Camas Library are hosting a two day used book sale on February 18th and 19th. All the books being sold are donated by Camas and Washougal residents throughout the year. Camas Library is facing budget cuts this year and 100% of proceeds from the sale will go to our local library. These funds are used for summer reading programs, new materials and new equipment. President of the Foundation, Jason Masuoka, says so far they have almost 10,000 books to sell. The prices of the books will range from paperbacks for only .50 cents to specialty books priced individually. They even have books on tape and CD as well.

The sale will take place in the Second Story Gallery at the Camas Library on Friday February 18th from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday the 19th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will also be offering a $10 bag sale on Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m. Don’t miss this event, for more information contact Jason Masuoka @ 360-910-6309 or [email protected]. See you there!
