Please join our community at the 21st Annual Battle Ground Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Celebration on Friday, December 3, 2010. This event will take place at Fairgrounds Park and the Battle Ground Community Center (912 E Main St) and is jointly hosted by the City of Battle Ground, the Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce, the North County Community Food Bank, and Clark County Fire and Rescue.

The festivities will begin at 5:30 pm, with Christmas Carols sung by the Battle Ground High School Choir. Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive by Fire Truck at 5:40 pm, courtesy of Clark County Fire and Rescue (our version of Rudolph ).  There will be comments at 5:50 by Mayor Ciraulo and the Chamber, followed by Santa lighting the tree!

Then head inside the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 pm for more (warm) festivities; including kids games, hot cocoa, pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and other good cheer! Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus are $5 per picture, with proceeds benefiting the North Community Food Bank. Donations of non-perishable items will be accepted, and greatly appreciated, for the North Community Food Bank.
