On March 18th come join DOGPAW and be part of the “We Love Dogs” team from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. This is a unique opportunity for dog lovers to get involved in their community at the 2017 Volunteer Fair.

New Dog Park Coming to Eastside County Property

Dog lovers have an opportunity to help create a new off-leash area where dogs can run and play in east Vancouver.

The Board of County Councilors unanimously approved an agreement with Dog Owners Group for Park Access in Washington (DOGPAW) to develop a dog park on a county-owned parcel at NE 192nd Avenue and NE 9th Street. The 10.8-acre property is west of the Humane Society for Southwest Washington and south of the Harmony Sports Complex.

DOGPAW will be responsible for developing the site with fencing, a double-gated entry and other amenities, as well as providing ongoing maintenance of the site.

Dogtoberfest 2012

A Howling Good Time.

A doggone good time to share with man’s (or woman’s) best friend.Dogtoberfest will be Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 10 am and 3 pm at the Dakota Memorial Dog Park (NE 18th Street and NE 164th Avenue, Vancouver). Dogs of all shapes and sizes (and their owners) are welcome to join in this fun event! Admission is FREE, but a pet food donation to AniMeals would be greatly appreciated.

There will tons of fun for you and your four-legged best friend: Lure Coursing, Doggie Contests, Raffles, Prizes and Give-aways, Local Vendors and more…
