This is the largest parade in SW Washington is sponsored by Bomber Brothers Fireworks and the Hazel Dell/Salmon Creek Business Association. The Grand Marshals are US Army Sergeant Jack Carrier (Retired) and US Army Sergeant Brian Radke (Retired). Both soldiers are from Southwest Washington and were injured while serving our country.

Hazel Dell Area Park Ready for Visitors.

d40cc lalondepark 125 LaLonde Park DedicationThe official park dedication for the Kate & Clarence Lalonde Neighborhood Park in Hazel Dell will be June 11, 2011 at noon. The dedication is hosted by the NE Hazel Dell Association; they will be serving up cake, ice cream, cookies, and coffee.

Construction began in 2010 for this 7.7-acre park as part of the Greater Clark Parks District program.

sportsballs 135 125x125 The Name Game Going on at Hazel Dell Sports FieldThe voting ended February 8 on what to name the new Sports Field in Hazel Dell, and the results are in: 95% of voters think the new Hazel Dell Sports Field should be named the Luke Jensen Memorial Park.

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee submitted the results, and made their recommendation to the Board of Clark County Commissioners today (February 18) at a noon meeting.
