Fun Run at Sunset.
Run, walk or stroll….this is a “Fun Run” after all! The Salmon Creek at Sunset 6k or 12 k Fun Run on August 22, begins as the sun sets along the Salmon Creek Trail, and ends with an “after party” with music, snacks and cold beer from Billygans Roadhouse and Applebee’s in Salmon Creek! Now that’s worth running for!
The race will start/finish in between Billygan’s and Applebee’s in Salmon Creek. There will be a “Kids Zone” available, where kids can stay and play, and enjoy their own “fun run”, while you enjoy your run.
Proceeds from this event will go towards tuition and travel expenses for Southwest Washington Girls Basketball players at Pure Advantage Basketball Academy. “Pure Advantage Basketball Academy- it is not a charity it is an organization that currently has 12 youth basketball teams at many levels from 5th grade community youth to 11th grade elite tournament traveling teams. Players receive professional instruction and have the chance to travel nationally to participate in NCAA sanctioned events. 100 percent of all proceeds will go towards tuition assistance, travel expenses, gym space, camps and tournaments.”
