Earth Day Celebration 2011 at the Marshall Center

Marshall Center Hosts Free Community Event.

Vancouver-Clark Parks & Recreation, and local partners invite the entire community to a free celebration of Earth Day at Marshall Community Center (1009 E. McLoughlin Blvd) on Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 11 am to 4 pm.

Dogtoberfest 2010.

A doggone good time to share with man’s (or woman’s) best friend. Dogtoberfest will be Saturday, October 16, 2010 between 10 am and 3 pm at the Dakota Memorial Off-Leash Area within Pacific Community Park. Dogs of all shapes and sizes (and their owners) are welcome to join in this fun event! Admission is FREE, but a pet food donation to AniMeals would be greatly appreciated.

New Park on the Horizon for Hazel Dell

Kate and Clarence LaLonde Neighborhood Park.

Clark County Public Works and Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation have started construction on a new neighborhood park in northeast Hazel Dell. Construction began on the Kate and Clarence LaLonde Neighbrohood Park in July 2010 and is expected to be complete and open to the public in Spring 2011!

Sunday Funday at Marshall Center is usually the first Sunday of the month, but this month it will be held on the second Sunday of the month, July 11, 2010 (anyone remember what the first Sunday in July was?).
