“Cruise the Gut.”
Are you a car junkie? Remember cruising the gut, or at least know what it means? Then mark your calendar for August 22, 2009. That’s the day Vancouver-Clark Parks and Rec will be hosting the August Road Show and Retro Fair at the Marshall Center, 1009 E McLoughlin Blvd, beginning at 10 am.
The show is open to cars in the categories of Vintage and Late Model Stock and/or Modified Muscle Cars, Rat Rods and Trucks. Trophies will be awarded at 4:30 in five categories, including Best of Show, Mayor’s Choice and Community Choice. Want to register a car, call (360) 487-7100.
At 6:00, participating cars will cruise the gut; driving up Broadway, circling Dairy Queen, and down Main Street. Ahhh, memories…
